Here is a photo of Jack eating his very first slice of pizza - cheese, a good flavour to start with i think, mainly because there is no pesky topping to deal with. Though he spotted the olives on our other pizzas soon enough, and started demanding those as best as he could - "Olle, Olle!" He really is a little Italian baby.
The event took place on Friday night - we headed over to see Maria and Peter, and check out this new pizza place near their house (which was delicious by the way!) Jack was his usual cheerful self (though not at first, we had to wake him from a nap and the only thing that would console him was a packet of sultanas. Hey, whatever it takes.)
He is particularly funny because he knows us by name now - "Na Na" is me, cause he can't say my name properly yet, but he can say Jo just fine. So he can call us whenever he wants, even just to point something out - "Na Na, big truck!" Very cute indeed.

On Thursday night we went to see the movie Public Enemies, which i thought was just OK. Jo really liked it, but i was disappointed considering it is a Michael Mann film, and he has made some great movies - loved Heat and Miami Vice! Still, Johnny Depp is always great, and he plays an interesting character in history in this movie.
The rest of our weekend was spent in Canberra with our friends Kat and Turnsie - but i am toooooo tired to post about that tonight, so will organise some of our (hilarious) photos and will write about that soon.
